Collaborative decision forums

In CINTRAN, we’ve identified a number of ways of coping with decarbonisation, especially in carbon-intensive regions where the use of coal, peat, oil shale, oil and/or gas is deeply imbedded in the local economies and lives of the communities. This is a brief overview of one of these strategies – creating collaborative decision forums. The document is designed to help you understand what a collaborative decision forum is, and how it might help people from carbon-intensive regions cope with the social and economic impacts of decarbonisation.
