Green Energy Roadmap Colombia 2030

This document presents the results of a research project that included a series of workshops and information-gathering spaces, with the support of actors from different sides with diverse knowledge, experiences and positions on energy issues. Thanks to these contributions, it was possible to identify the most important uncertainties when
imagining scenarios to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2030 (1. political will towards 100% renewable electricity and 2. social willingness at different levels to increasingly renewable energy). Based on these central uncertainties, a description of four scenarios built around the uncertainties at the political and societal level was elaborated.
Based on these scenarios, a system dynamics simulation was carried out in order to understand what possibilities there are, in each scenario, to achieve or not a transition to a 100% renewable electricity system, and a set of recommendations to move in that direction was elaborated.
