Public Lobbying
The CINTRAN project identified over 40 ways of coping with decarbonisation, especially in carbon-intensive regions where coal, peat, oil shale, oil and/or gas is deeply imbedded in local economies and communities. The most common strategies, by far, are those that seek to influence public and policymakers opinions on transitions through public lobbying. The document is designed to help you understand what public lobbying is, how different actors use it, how it can help different actors from carbon-intensive regions communicate their visions for decarbonisation.
