Public participation

In CINTRAN, we’ve identified several ways of coping with decarbonisation, especially in carbon-intensive regions where coal, peat, oil shale, oil and/or gas is deeply imbedded in local economies and communities. This is a brief overview of one of these strategies –public participation. The document is designed to help you understand what public participation looks like in this context, how it can help, and how to augment it, so it is easier for people in your region to adopt.
