Strategic Actions to Shape Coping Strategies for Medium-Risk Regions

This document is intended for regions that are facing some challenges coping with the negative impacts arising from the implementation of decarbonisation policies. It provides an overview of the main responses to decarbonisation observed in “medium-risk” regions, and provides guidance on the types of plans, programs and approaches that can help achieve just transitions as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Risk refers to the potential for negative consequences from decarbonisation.
